Alaska

For my graduation present... (a year early) my grandma is taking my sister and I on a cruise to Alaska. The whole family decided to go too!SO ITS GOING TO BE FUN AND SO THIS TRIP IS  ACTUALLY GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!! IM SO EXCITED.... So anyway about Alaska.

Alaska offers fun outdoor activites like horseback riding, ziplining and winter activites.

Winter activites include dog sledding,  ice glacer hiking and snowmobiling. Even though its Alaska its not nearly as cold as some may think. Winter brings 6- 13 hours of sunshine clearly showing that its not as dark as some may think. Its usually around 20 degrees. The main thing in Alaska is viewing the Northern Lights.

Alaska's food includes wild crab, hailibut and salmon. It has has a thriving beer country.

If siteseeing is your thing then do a little whale watching, wildlife watching and rafting world class rivers!

Although I will only be on a boat for my trip there is lots of things to do on land too. I only imagine though that we will get to see a little of Alaska and im excited.

Hawaii

Everyone has not lived their life before they visit the ever famous Hawaii! Therefore i have not lived... because i have not been but i deeply wish to!

Hawaii is full of fun food and tourist sites not to mention sun... and beaches. Its the island full of active volcanoes and the worlds tallest sea mountain. Its the birthplace of surfing, hula and Hawaii cusine. Its also hosts the only royal palace on US soil.

In Hawaii there are six islands to visit Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, and Hawaii’s Big Island.

The Kauai island offers sailing the coast, ziplining over lush valleys, romantic beaches, hula and historic sites.

Oahu invites you to relaxing escapes on the North Shore, a romantic cruise off the coast of  Waikiki, and learning how to surf and whale watching.

Molokai offers mule rides to Kalaupapa National Historical Park, a fishing adventure and sunbathing and beachcombing on Papohaku Beach Park.

Lanai island is full of golf courses, snorkeling, horseback riding, and a day full of adventure while 4-wheeling.

The island of Maui offers family excursions, romantic sunset cruises and outdoor adventures on the slopes of Haleakala National Park.

Finally Hawaii's Big Island offers swimming with rays, watching the lava sink into the sea, black sand beaches, natural wonders and historical sites.

Its up to you as to which island you choose... or maybe you could choose all of them!

Paris, France

Paris.....ah!

Paris is the ideal place to visit and come on who doesnt want to visit. I want to visit for the views and of course the food....

Paris is full of exciting places to visit and is reachable all by walking if you wish. You can also get around by car or scooter! This city is densly populated with 2.2 million people and full of fun.

Some of the activites you can do in Paris include historical sites and musuems. Some of the famous historical sites include the Château de Versailles and the Notre Dame Cathedral. The Notre Dame Cathedral is a gothic style cathedral that was based off the famous novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The Château de Versailles is Frances most extravagent chateau and although is located on the outskirts of town is easily accessible by train.

The most famous site in France is The Eiffle Tower. Nothing best symbolizes France than The Eiffle Tower.

If your thing is musuems and galleries then the best one to visit is The Louvre. Its one of the finest museums in the world of art and culture. Its also home of the Mona Lisa and innumerable others.

Also Paris is famous for its cafes and has some of the best food. Its still known as the center for cusine. Also most importantly its photograpy. Some consider it the birthplace of photograpy because its everyones dream. Just photography can make you want to visit Paris. With that note.... PHOTOS!

West Virginia

I have been to West Virginia a couple of times. My Uncle and Aunt own a lake house on Smith Mountain Lake and we visit every other year. So you may be wondering why would I want to visit if i have already been? Good question.... When we go i cant get enough of it! I LOVE IT! The views are beautiful and I cant wait to go again. But I really want to explore more of West Virginia besides just the lake that we stay at.

West Virginia is a beautiful and full of breathtaking sites and wildlife. Its also famous for Civil War reenactments. But if your not into that then check out any of the land, water or snow activities. Some land activities include hiking, biking and golfing. Wake boarding, tubing, and river rafting are some of the water activities. A really cool thing to do on the 4th of July is to sit on the lake and watch the fireworks from the boat!! (Just a thought! But its beautiful.)  And lastly some SNOW activities! MY FAVORITE! Anyway tubing, and snowboarding. West Virgina has on of the longest snow seasons in the region.

Also West Virginia has history which is backed by haunted train rides. Harper's Ferry Ghost Tour, and the Halloween Train at Cass Scenic Railroad State Park are some fun ones! Whether or not they are scary is for YOU to find out. Ill pass and stick to the snowboarding. :)
Anyway some pictures for thought!.....

British Columbia, Canada

When i was in the 6th grade we had to do a travel assignment. We were all given a place in canada to try to get our "audience"(classmates) to visit. I was given British Columbia. Although we dont think of traveling to Canada very often I remember it being a very beautiful place.

British Columbia has lots to offer. Activities from caving and ATV's, ghost towns and gold panning, to even spas and beaches and canoes. It seems like there is many activites offered here that would be fun to check out.

Since it is cold in British Columbia all of the wonderful activites with snow, like skiing and horseshoeing are popular attractions.

I found this website: http://www.hellobc.com/en-CA/SightsActivitiesEvents/BritishColumbia.htm thats all about British Columbia and what it has to offer.

The thing that i remember the most about researching BC is that it was beautiful. Some of the main attractions are breath taking and most importantly everything is natural and wildlife filled.

Vancouver Island: which is a very popular and beautiful place. It was the host of the 2010 Olympics.

As well as beautiful Victoria.

Which offers breathtaking gardens.

As well as the Inner Harbour.

I was told this place is beautiful. And if one day i ever get the chance i would like to go there. Its out of the country and its different from anyother place on earth.
